Control Center Privacy Policy
Effective date: 11 October 2026
This privacy policy applies specifically to Control Center for Android, package com.bluechip.controlcenter, published by BlueChipLTA. For privacy questions, contact anhlt1041992@gmail.com.
1. How the app works
Control Center provides a customizable quick-control panel, music controls, shortcuts, screenshots and screen recording. It does not require an account. The app does not operate an account, cloud backup or media-upload service.
2. Information used on your device
Language, panel layout, appearance, shortcut selections and recording preferences are stored on your device. Photos you select are used for your panel background. App names and icons are used to show and open the shortcuts you choose. Carrier, connection and battery information may be displayed when Android makes it available. These features do not upload their content to a server operated by us.
Screenshots and recordings are saved locally. They may contain anything visible on your screen, and microphone recordings may contain surrounding conversations. Sharing starts only when you choose to share a file through Android; the receiving app or recipient then handles that file under its own practices.
3. AccessibilityService
If you enable the optional Android accessibility service, Control Center uses it to display the opening strip and panel over other apps, open Recents, lock the screen and invoke Android's screenshot action when you select those controls. You can disable it in Android accessibility settings.
The service is configured not to retrieve window contents and does not subscribe to accessibility event monitoring. It does not read other apps' text or use accessibility to track your activity. Screenshots requested by you are saved locally; they are not sent to our server.
4. Other permissions and controls
- Display over other apps: supports the panel when the overlay permission is used.
- Modify system settings and Do Not Disturb: support brightness and Focus controls you select.
- Notification access: identifies active media sessions to show track details and music controls. The app does not save notification contents.
- Screen recording: Android asks for confirmation for every recording session. You can stop an active recording using the app's controls or recording notification.
- Microphone: requested only when you choose surrounding-audio recording; the microphone preference is off by default. Audio playing inside other apps is not recorded.
- Camera: used for flashlight control on supported hardware. Opening the camera shortcut launches a separate camera app.
- Notifications and foreground services: support ongoing panel and recording status.
Permissions can be revoked in Android settings. Features that need a revoked permission may stop working.
5. Advertising and Google services
Control Center uses Google AdMob to display advertising. Google's advertising SDK can collect and share IP addresses, advertising or other device identifiers, app/ad interactions and diagnostic information for advertising, measurement and fraud prevention. IP addresses can be used to estimate general location; Control Center does not request precise GPS location for this purpose. Google's User Messaging Platform handles applicable consent forms. Ad privacy options appear in the app's Settings when Google requires them.
The app includes Firebase services. Remote Config can use installation identifiers and technical request information to retrieve app configuration. Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics automatic collection are disabled in the current release. They are separate from advertising consent. Disabling these collections does not prevent advertising or configuration services from processing their own technical data.
Read Google's Privacy Policy, Google Mobile Ads data disclosures and Firebase privacy information for provider practices. Visiting this policy on Blogger is also subject to Google's website practices.
6. Retention, deletion and your choices
You can change local settings in the app, revoke permissions in Android settings and delete saved media through your device's media/file apps. Clearing app storage removes app-private preferences and background copies; shared screenshots and recordings may remain until you delete them separately. Uninstalling does not necessarily remove shared media.
Google services retain technical information under their applicable policies. Android advertising settings and available Google consent controls let you manage relevant choices. Data processed by providers may be handled outside your country. For privacy questions or requests concerning data we handle, email us; do not attach sensitive screenshots or recordings unless necessary for your request.
7. Security
Google Mobile Ads uses encrypted transport for its transmitted data. Local files rely on your device's protections and may be accessible to apps or people you authorize. No storage or transmission method is completely secure.
8. Children and updates
Control Center is intended for people aged 13 and above and is not directed to children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through the app.
We may update this policy when the app or its data practices change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be described in an updated policy and, where appropriate, in the app.
Control Center is an independent Android app and is not affiliated with Apple.
